SoftBank Vision Fund posts $8B Q3 profit

SoftBank Group’s unit rebounded from a loss to record an 844 billion yen ($8 billion) third-quarter profit.

SoftBank-backed firms that went public during the quarter include real estate buying and selling platform and food delivery app operator . SoftBank it made a 13.2 times return on its DoorDash investment, as of year-end, and a 3.7 times return on Opendoor.
