, a startup that offers primary care for women aged 65 and older, said Monday that it has raised a $26 million Series A funding round. Its funding comes as venture funding to startups focused on women’s health issues has held up relatively well despite a broad venture funding pullback.
The company operates only one physical clinic 鈥 in St. Paul, Minnesota 鈥 but said with the new funding it plans to grow its footprint significantly over the next 18 months, including opening another two locations in the Twin Cities area this year. It will also expand its virtual care offerings, it said.聽

Herself says its approach differs from generic primary care because it focuses on holistic aspects of an older woman鈥檚 health and well-being, including mental health, mobility, and social and behavioral health. It also focuses on specific health issues that are more prevalent in older women, including Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and arthritis.

Herself鈥檚 raise comes as 鈥 broadly defined as companies focused specifically on women鈥檚 health issues 鈥斅爃as remained relatively robust amid a general venture funding downturn. Femtech-related startups last year raised more than $1.2 billion, 附近上门 data shows. That follows record-setting funding of more than $1.8 billion in 2020 and $1.7 billion in 2021.
