What would you otherwise be doing right now?
I would probably still own my own company, and I would probably have a content or media company in the outdoor/journalism sports world.

I’m a people pleaser. I say yes too much.

Being insanely cold and being able to do nothing about it.

Patience. It’s [a virtue] I’m trying to cultivate in my life.

I want people to say that “John really cared about other people.”
What鈥檚 the biggest problem tech is failing to solve?
My snarky answer is tech hasn’t figured out how to make us live forever yet (but I know Peter Thiel is working on that one). But honestly, autonomous transportation. I am surprised we are not further along yet. It’s crazy to me that the NYC subway聽still has people driving it and controlling breaking and all that.
