This week, we expand a bit on some of the seed rounds previously reported in our daily news briefings.

JobGet

is a mobile hiring app based in Boston. The company raised a $2.1 million seed, led by with participation from , , , and .

Founded in 2019, JobGet uses artificial intelligence to match hourly job seekers with nearby businesses looking to hire. Employers can use聽 its in-app messaging and video chat features to schedule interviews in real time, which can result in someone being hired within hours rather than weeks, the company said.

The new funding will be used to expand nationally following a regional launch in Massachusetts. Today, more than 5,000 employers are using the app, more than 1 million applications were submitted, and 350,000 interviews were conducted over the past year.

Exer Labs

Exer Labs is a 1-year-old startup based in Denver that is focused on the fitness space, in particular, using AI and computer vision to power its motion coaching apps. This week, the company raised another $2 million in seed funding giving it a total of $4.5 million in venture backing.

Investors in the latest round include , , , , , , and , as well as existing investors and .

The company鈥檚 new platform is , a Mac app that provides -like leaderboards and stats for any virtual workout. The company has future plans to offer this feature on any laptop, tablet or phone, as well as more features and support for on-demand classes.

Mandolin

Live music lovers may enjoy using , a digital platform designed to help artists, venues and fans connect. The Indianapolis-based startup brought in a $5 million seed round from , CEO 1and a group of angel investors.

Mandolin is the 18th company to launch out of High Alpha鈥檚 venture studio. After forming in June, Mandolin has inked both a two-year partnership deal with the network of venues, and a partnership with Nashville鈥檚 for the first-ever 鈥淟ive at The Ryman鈥� livestream experience.

Product features include artist meet-and-greet experiences, public and private chats, merchandise tables, watch parties and ticket sharing.
