Perch raises $123.5M for brands on Amazon

, a startup that acquires direct-to-consumer businesses that are聽 selling on and growing their operations, has $123.5 million in a new funding round led by .

The Boston-based company focuses on products and brands that have a steady history of strong customer reviews and are consistently one of the top three products within their category on Amazon.聽 Featured brands in its stable include makers of an exfoliating brush, slime-making kits, leggings, reusable straws and other products.

The company’s platform is used for sales analytics, pricing, advertising and marketing聽 strategy, and inventory.
