Reader Survey: Two Months In, How Are You Feeling About 2023?

While tech workers have lost their jobs in droves, other sectors are still struggling to get enough workers 鈥 and companies in industries ranging to defense tech are .

In our earlier survey, one reader noted that there鈥檚 a gulf between the VCs on Sand Hill Road and everyone else: 鈥淭here鈥檚 a big disconnect between where investors think the economy is going and where everyone else thinks it鈥檚 going,鈥 said the reader, who identified as an owner or executive in the tech industry. 鈥淚nvestors are running for the hills. Everyone else is being cautious.鈥
